Following the
mechanical and thermal processing stages through which the metal has
passed, the strip is subjected to its only chemical treatment on a
pickling line.
The strip is degreased, brushed, pickled (in diluted sulphuric acid), washed, dried and finally examined for surface defects in an ultra-modern surface inspection system with 8 CCD cameras. |
