 Water
is our most important food. The sparing use and treatment of dirty water
take priority in our company. We use water as cooling water since the
metal has to be heated and cooled down repeatedly. Machinery and plants
are also cooled with water.
A rainwater reservoir is currently being built in order to spare the essential resource water. The precipitation water on the factory site is collected separate to the production and sanitary water, stored in a basin and fed into the production process after filtration. Apart from saving drinking water and closing the water cycle, filtration also holds back heavy metals. This thus takes a certain load of the local sewage plant. In addition, cooling water is used as far as possible in a cyclic system. Rinsing waters are switched in cascades one after the other before being passed on to the water treatment system. 40 m³ per day are cleaned in the firms' own water treatment plant. Our sewer system is regularly inspected within the scope of the Self-Monitoring Directive for Sewers and any faults which are discovered are repaired.
