The route described here should never be used by trucks since the bridge load for articulated lorries in Kornelimünster is only 21 t and the road through Breinig is unsuitable for trucks LKW.

The description begins at the Aachener Kreuz (Aachen Motorway Intersection). Take the A 44 towards Lüttich/Liege up to the Brand exit. Turn right at the crossroads (B285) towards Stolberg / Kornelimünster. Keep on this road for around 4 km until your reach Kornelimünster and then turn left after the second set of lights in Kornelimünster towards Breinig, signposted "Breinig / Langerwehe".

Follow this road for around 6 km through Breinig and Breinigerberg. Beware: the speed limit is only 50 kph between Breinig and the entrance to Schwermetall and there is a stationary speed trap to ensure that you keep to this.

Turn left around 250 m after leaving Breinigerberg towards the firm of Schwermetall.

Parking spaces are available on the right shortly before you reach the factory site.

The description begins at the Aachener Kreuz (Aachen Motorway Intersection). Take the A 44 towards Lüttich/Liege up to the Brand exit. Turn right at the crossroads (B285) towards Stolberg / Kornelimünster. Keep left after around 1.4 km and turn left towards Stolberg.

Carry straight on along this road for approx. 5.9 km up to its end and then turn right towards Monschau / Zweifall / Vicht. After around 2.3 km you will come to a crossroads (the first where you can turn right) where you should turn right up the hill towards Aachen/ Breinig. After around 1.2 km, turn right towards Schwermetall after the top of the hill.

Park behind the last truck and report to the gateman with your papers.
